October 2018 Update
Hello Everyone!
I hope you have been able to find some of the information on this website useful in your aquatic adventures. My husband and I have been unable to update much over the past couple of years due to new careers & a growing family. However, we haven't stopped our hobby of building and maintaining beautiful aquariums. In fact, we've made a lot of changes over the past few years. We now have an established 240 gallon Reef Tank and have transitioned our discus tank into a Fish Only With Live Rock (FOWLR) saltwater tank. The story of what lead to this decision can be found on our discus tank blog.
We are going to try and be more diligent about updating this website. That includes making posts to our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & YouTube accounts. Part of the great thing about this hobby is everything you learn along the way and hopefully our experiences can give you some insight to experiencing success & avoiding pitfalls. We can't wait to share all our new systems with you!
Keep Krill'in!

WELCOME!
Welcome to the spot on the web for all things aquarium related! We are Mr. & Mrs. Krill, aquarium enthusiasts, who wish to share our experiences, techniques and devices we utilize to enjoy nature’s aquatic artistry.
We adhere to the Krill philosophy of maintaining Aquaria -- Keeping Researched-Integrated Livestock & Layouts. Before we begin any tank, we conduct a copious amount of research. Be it through forums, YouTube videos, magazine articles, product reviews and; yes, even good old fashion books. It can be daunting trying to sift through all the information. Especially when we were newbies. It felt like we were drowning! (pun intended)
Now that we have our heads above water, we felt the best way to give back to the aquatic community was to consolidate the waves of information we have absorbed and document our successes along with our struggles. We plan on posting articles relating to both freshwater and saltwater aquarium keeping, posting pictures and videos of our set-ups, and providing helpful tips. It is our hope that this blog will be a port for new aquarists venturing into the hobby. As well as, a hub for advanced hobbyists to discuss techniques and debate on equipment.
So surf around, get your feet wet and Keep Krill’in!
